Problem with paypal, I lose $200

    Hi DP's member.

10days ago, I listed a domain name on DP for selling it and a member bought my domain at $200 (includes data). But paypal held my money because they think the paypal that a member used to send money for me is not valid and today I lose my $200.

It's not fair cause I lose my site and I lose my money too.

I try to explain but paypal not trust me.

    How I get money back?
    Thanks

Paypal said: This transaction maybe not valid
I think the member hacked paypal and used it for my transaction. It's sh*t and F*ck him
So, I can't get my money back? Right?

I think so, but only $200 so I dont use Escrow.

This is Very Very Bad. In this case if you get transaction in your account then its not your fault. This is totally fault of paypal in either case due to CC or Stolen PP. This show paypal is not safe at all. And even more bad thing is that paypal never admit it. They always do what they want, always keep them at safe place they never understand the problem of users.

They should have to verify first transaction by themselves and after finding transaction is valid then it should be transfer to Seller account.

And in this case there is no way to find out paypal not cheating, May be some people says why they will cheat, but i say this is about money and every dollar count. Paypal need to be get more secure instead imposing some foolish rules.

First of all, I was in the same situation before. But the difference is that, someone made an attempt to hack my account. However, Paypal took hold of the money and my account became limited. I cannot withdraw. As security measure, Paypal requested me to make a claim and that they investigate. So, I made a claim and after a week or so, they found out that the person who is the supposed "buyer" had an invalid transaction with me. So, I was able to refund the money stolen, $100.

However, that does not end there. In order for me to finally get away that limit. They asked me to submit proofs that I am the real owner of the account. And I did submit. After that, it was resolved and am able to withdraw again.

In your case, I think you go to the "Resolution Center" and make a claim. Instructions can be found there. And then they will make an investigation.

The thing is that it may be true that the buyer may not have given you the money or anything like that. There are safety measures for sellers at PP, so apply that.

You can never get this money back. And remember this is from Vietnam/China who are using proxy US socks and fake visa card to send payment. You have just loss your money paypal cant recover it because the sender have used fake visa information to send you the payment. We already experience some of this situation so we dont deliever any service made from USA/FR/DE without checking the IP and if it seems wrong our billing dept called to the number for phone verification.

However the situation is shocking, best of luck at the next time.

    So, paypal is shit
Think about this case: If you buy anythings on DP (example: Site/domains), you sent money and seller transfer domain to you, then you make a disputes to get money back. And seller will lose all: money and domain?

So, paypal is supporting scammer? $200 is not too much but in the future, we shouldn't Direct transactions with paypal.
I remember this guy, I have anythings of him, I have address of him and I will do everthing to get my money back.
Fuck him, he is living in Indian

Sad to hear about that. I can agree on one point that PayPal does not do enough to help you get your money back.
I used PayPal once, some years ago now, but never more. Twice I got charged for something that I didn't purchased. I contacted PayPal and they replied that I should contact "the seller" and they have sent an email to "the seller" about the issue. I never did get my money back and PayPal only sent me an email about how to change my password.

Did you report to Mod/Admin about the member who scammed you? Other people should ought to know.

I really don't understand why some people able to make fraud transactions on Paypal. Isn't this should be a Paypal problem? I think Paypal should be the one held liable for this. From the fact that the transaction was completed, then Paypal should look into their system again. I have been seeing several reports like these in this forum.

    To TS:
If you will be able to resolve this problem, I hope you will post on this thread what you did so we will also be guided on what to. Thank you in advance.

That's why I wouldn't dare to use PayPal with transaction over $50. The weirdest thing is that there are always unauthorized claims. It's like very easy to hack other people's accounts. Sometimes it makes you wonder whether it's real or not.
