Problem with opening domain.com and domain.com/index.html

Hi,

There is a problem for me, I have a subdomain created I upload index.html file on it:

sub.domain.com/index.html

Browser must open the index file when trying to "sub.domain.com" but it does not open and must entered sub.domain.com/index.html to opening!

What is the problem cause? How I can solve that?

which hosting company are you using, you may need to place an .htaccess file in that folder to recognize the default index files such as index.html, default.html etc.

 

.htaccess file already exists in the directory but same problem... Thank you for your attention

 

you should open your htaccess with wordpad and paste the content in it here so we can check, or contact your host company and they can sort it out.
