Hi all, The navigation bar links on my site(created in Dreamweaver) were working fine. However, I wanted to change the names of the different pages. So in Dreamweaver I changed the navigation bar links for the different buttons to the names of the new pages. I then deleted the old webpages from the remote server and uploaded the newly named pages. Now when I click on the different nav bar links in a browser they all work but sometimes a button tries to find an old page(which no longer exists) So for example instead of finding the page: http://www.simonspetportraits.co.uk/pet_portrait_pricing.html it will find: http://www.simonspetportraits.co.uk/prices.html Does anyone know why this might be happening? Thanks alot. NB the buttons always seem to work if I click on them from the home page.
Glad to hear, i visted your site and encounterd no problems at all navigation works well . My initial thought was maybe a caching problem your end with the older replaced pages being in your browsers cache but you fixed the issue anyway. It's often good practise after posting a question / bug and finding the answer afterwards to post the solution that fixed it that way you could save someone else posting for exactly the same issue or give them an idea how to persue their own problems
All it turned out to be was that I hadn't saved one of the pages when i updated the navigation bar links for it.
