Problem with my phpbb install... some text is missing

    I just installed phpbb on my site, but it looks like some text isn't appearing,
    could you please have a look, and see if you have any ideas?

    Just reup the files except for the config file. It should fix that problem.

    will i have to go through the install process again?
    should i reupload the install and contrib directories that they tell you to delete after install?

    EDIT: Found the problem. a faulty forum/language/lang_english/lang_main.php file.

    glad you got your problem solved, had you used a decent forum package, (SMF), you wouldn't of had those problems.

    its never too late to convert.:D

    You can't exactly say it was because of non "decent forum package". It was more than likely an upload problem.

    phpBB is a very good script if you KNOW how to manage it. if not, then there's not a script to keep you from problems :D

    Should you have issues from now on, let me know and I can offer some tips ;)
