Hello guys, I got an acer Extensa 6700Z Laptop and the problem I am facing is that it sometime stuck and shows a green screen. I have to power off. Anyone experienced this? Is this because of over heat?

Haha, Freelance GD, i am using a Toshiba and don't think that you will get better luck with it! I experienced similar problems after two years of use! I had power supply go, then I had CPU burnt out, due to overheating! Just got it back from shop under warranty though! Good luck with your search and problems with Acer, do some more research before committing! Cheers Dave.

Get a laptop cooler. I got one myself and it helped quite a bit.

Have you tried to back up your hard drive and reinstalling the system. This may sort the problem.

My OS is ok. I think its because of overheat. I will kick their asses as I have 1 year warranty of everything. I am waiting for a blast and will see...
