Problem with .htacess and blog

I have a lil problem.

I have a site www.domain.com that has mod rewrites in .htaccess.

I have also set up a blog on www.domain.com/blog, the problem is that when I am trying to change the permalinks strcuture in .htacess the pages on www.domain.com will not load.

For example www.domain.com/page.html no longer works.

Any ideas peeps?

I think you should have .httaccess on both blog, cause i think it need to load each blog. (One .httaccess contain setting for one blog )

 

I think you do, try putting a htaccess in your blog directory too. let me know what happens.
