Hi All, I'm hoping someone can help me with a problem I'm having with Google Webmaster Tools - Web Crawl Errors. Here's the background (I apologise in advance for the long-winded explanation): When I first started blogging, I used Blogger, and published around 30 or so posts. Quickly realised that I'd rather swith to Wordpress, so bought web hosting with Bluehost and am using Wordpress. I imported all of my blog posts into my new web space (from Blogger to Wordpress), so far so good, but.... I bought my domain name while I was with Blogger and redirected it to point towards my blog, so whenever someone visited my Blogger blog, instead of this being in the address bar: http://www.myblogname.blogspot.com/2008/04/adding-links.html the address bar showed: http://www.myblogname.com/2008/04/adding-links.html Anyway, what's happened now is that, in Google Webmaster Tools, each day when I check for crawl errors, the number keeps on increasing even though I've deleted the verification meta tag from my blogspot blog. Why does Google keep on crawling my old blogspot blog when I've taken out the verification tag? And more importantly, will this hurt my new blog in terms of search engine rankings? And the crawl errors all have addresses without the "blogspot" part in it, as though my domain name is still pointing towards my Blogger blog. PS When I switched from Blogger to Wordpress, I redirected my domain name to point towards the Bluehost servers. Not sure what to do next, in fact I'm not even sure if I've explained this properly, but hopefully someone here can provide some advice! Thanks in advance, John.
