Problem with gif to png with a logo?

Ok, someone here was very nice and donated a png to logo my forum (vbulletin). Anyway, I am currently using the gif that was supplied to me by the skin company! I have no clue on how to use the png. I uploaded the png to the server and made the file paths different also in the admin cp. No change at all? Any comments on this will be much appreciated!

P.S. = I have been posting here regularly, and these are some great forums! Thanks!

PNGs are used the same way in HTML like the other picture formats. You just have to point to them in the src="" bit of the img tag.

Seems the link should be pointing to this:
forums/kartel/misc/ so your path should be forums/kartel/misc/logo.png

    Hi All,

It'd be much easier and straight forward to save the PNG you've been supplied as a GIF and just replace the PNG in:
    forums/kartel/misc/logo.gif

Plus PNG support for browsers isn't as well covered as it is for GIF or JPEG.
