Problem with forum updating/PM's

I'll lay the problem out in simple terms.

The forum seems to be 5 hours behind reality(Yes, I have the right time settings on). For example the most recent posts in the competition section are 11 am. Yet It's 4 pm. There's a 5 hour delay on forum updating for some reason.

Part of that problem is private messaging. I'm not receiving PM's on time. I receive an Email, luckily, that tells me I've received PMs, and I can read the PM's through there.

But on the forum itself? Supposedly I've had no new private messages, none of the PM's I've received are in my inbox. They haven't arrived, for some reason.

What's the crack?

 

It's essentially a problem with the database. It has good days and bad days

It's a database issue, this can be done in a large forum like this.

Try clearing your cache and waiting - there is nothing the moderators can do to help you, just be patient or communicate by email.
