well its obviously a margin or a height problem, but you have so many css files that I don't even know where to look. check the margins/heights of everything at the top of the gap as well as the bottom wrapper. good luck
I have done that already...the main stylesheet that covers those things is style.css nothing has top or bottom margins or even heights set...
