Hey everyone. I'm running a dating affiliate offer from Copeac. My I deployed the creative code, copied the HTML to my site. Right now, I can see the banners and everything perfectly. But when I click on the banners, I get a 404 Error that says: "Not Found The requested URL /geo_tracking_redirect.html was not found on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. " Has anyone experienced this problem from Copeac before? Any suggestions as to how to fix it? Thanks.
It looks like it's trying to find that on your server or something. I wold think that is a file that Copeac uses to determine what audience is clicking on the ad and where they are from. It would be best to contact them.
i m sure he is clicking from outside US. but copeac should give appropriate message or should redirect to appropriate offer. Sam
Right now all international viewers see a page not found error. This is due to our international redirect being pounded with traffic lately. It was dragging down the response times for other publishers so temporarily it is taken down. We were seeing over 1 million users per day from international countries so we had to pull it down due to the increase load it put on our servers. We are working on a solution to the issue. All campaigns work properly for the countries they service.
Hi Mike, yeah. I am outside of the states. So as long as people are inside of the states, they can go through the redirects and not get 404 errors, then? Just had to make sure. lol
So you are wasting 1 million of traffic. let me know if you want to sell the same.. simply redirect those to my site. Sam
