    Hi,

I seem to have a problem with the ebay links generated from the editor kit, as the
statistics (impressions, clicks, etc) on CJ are not updating.

All the statistics are 0 except clicks which is 10 (how can i have 10 clicks with 0 impressions?).

Just joined this program a few days ago and im not getting any replies from ebay (cj tells me to contact ebay with my questions).

This is the code im using:

    	<script language="JavaScript" src="http://ilapi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?EKServer
    &ai=a%7Bzzs%2C-%2Ctw%7Eq

    &cid=0

    &num=25
    &numbid=y
    &paypal=n
    &popup=y

    &query=Nissan+300ZX+Twin+Turbo
    &r0=2

    &sid=www.ratemynissan.net
    &siteid=3
    &sort=MetaEndSort
    &sortby=endtime
    &sortdir=asc
    &srchdesc=y
    &tbgcolor=84929f
    &tlecolor=84929f
    &tlefs=0
    &tlfcolor=FFFFFF
    &track=2363666
    &width=570"></script>

    PHP:
I know for sure there has been impressions as i get close to 50.000 unique visitors a month and several thousands impressions daily.

    Any suggestions ?

I don't think Ebay bothers with impressions. cj handles lots of different merchants and I think the reporting features vary by merchant. I don't see impressions for Ebay, but Angies List on the same page does show them.

eBay/CJ can't manage impression stats due to the huge variety of linking methods - banners, rss, editor kit etc... It's all about the clicks > conversions. Forget about impressions.

And forget about contacting eBay - you'll be waiting a while for a response

I really need to know if page impressions are being attributed to my PID. I can't buy a car to check if it's working!
My item url, which leads to ebay, is:
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...agename=WDVW&viewitem=&item=180149855198&rd=1
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=008&category=50448&aid=10314017&pid=2559627&sspagename=WDVW&viewitem=&item=180149855198&rd=1
    Code (markup):
How can I check that this is working?
How do I know that I'l be credited with the commission?

You could always bid on something you know you'll get outbid on.

    Roll the dice! :)

Would that show up as a lead?
Wouldn't it be a problem that the bidder is logged in as the affliate as well?

I'm not sure of the TOS position on this one. I never do it, but I know that plenty of other people do (all the time!).

I'm still puzzled why you don't just use RSS+PID from advanced search?

    Kerosene,
I would apreciate your opinion on what I mentioned in the other thread.
In the rss url, the PID is in the url of the search result page, but it's not in the item links on that page. So how would the commission be credited?

It should be also in the items. I get the rss feed and each auction item has the PID luke, are you pulling the rss from the ebay advanced search, right?
