Problem with BIN payment

Trying to pay the BIN price ($490 which is a discounted for Premier members) for the following offer :

    https://marketplace.digitalpoint.com/service-custom-ux-designs-2-pages.4575/item?utm_nooverride=1

Twice the payment had been made and then for some reason it was cancelled requesting that I go back to the participating site, DP to sort out the problem there.

So the payment gets made from paypal and then is not accepted by DP.

Could you please let me know what the problem could be?

Is it possible that the problem is with the discounted price for Premier members ($490) which is different from the original price of $520 ?

There is nothing on our end that would do it. If you look at the reversed transaction in PayPal it should give you more info about why.

    I see the notice
Seller Is Not Currently Selling This Item
    That could be the problem.

I am afraid that is not the case.

Apparently the seller was told that "it is not allowed to sell services in such manner" and in fact he got warning points from DP moderator!

So as you can see it has nothing to do with the Paypal folks and it is in fact totally because of an incomprehensible bureaucratic decision from DP!

I will now pay directly to the seller using paypal rather than doing it via DP!

Why would services not allowed to be offered "in this way"?

And even if that were the case, why would the seller not have been simply guided to another way of selling services which do not ruffle feathers at DP?

Right, you can’t sell a service as an instantly downloadable item. But that has nothing to do with the transaction being reversed. Transaction reversal wasn’t done automatically or manually on our end. We couldn’t even if we wanted to. Only the seller or PayPal can reverse a transaction.
