backlinks are basicalyy the link where othersite has your links rite. i have my link in three other site still when i check for link:www.mysitename.com it shows no links. how to get reults there. infact on dp also i use that link in my signature still its not showing in back links can you please help me with it. what excatly the problem is.
check on Yahoo! Site Explorer or backlinkwatch.com to know about the backlinks to your site. Google is quite selective about it
Normally Google won't show if your links in another site. It will show when that link will be crawled by SE. You should do like that at many sites (directories) after that your Back link will increase. Or You can check your webmaster tool.
thank you all can see 27 back links but will it be shown in goggle when search engine crawls those website................how many days search engine requires to crawl a site
Check it on the backlinkwatch.. will know all the BL. If the site is new will take time ti update BL. Any work with google webmaster tool also
Yeah, forget using google to find your backlinks as It won't list most of them - don't know way but it might be to stop your competitors finding all your links and matching them. Backlinkwatch is the best in my experience although still won't show all links.
check yahoo site explorer. I think that's gives all your backlinks list. YOu can explore all your pages and see how many backlinks you have.
