    Hi Guys
Still learning the tricks of domaining.

I am specially interested with old domains -expiring.

I have been using GoDaddy for back-ordering and acquiring them. Unfortunately, everytime I get the domains - the date of creation is shown the day GoDaddy register it for me.:( wiping out the old age.

    Can anybody help me?

Or I'll have to order it from the previous registrar?

    Tnx in advance.

yes you should try to get it from the current registrar of the domain..they might restore the domain name for you and the domain will retain the date of creation..

Thanks a lot. But I also tried this.:( I back-ordered a domain registered with GoDaddy using its program - but it gave me the same result. I am really confused as I have many PR domains to register in the net few weeks.:(

i think its not possible retaining the age if thats the case.. the only time you can back order a domain is if its already about 75 days past the expiration date which would have the domain deleted from the database which would mean deletion of the domain age so you can re-register it. if im not mistaken. :)

i think the best way to retain the age of the domain is buy it from the person who registered it.. if you could contact him/her..
