    Hello everyone,

I have a question. When i search for "Google adword" and "Adword google" on Google Keyword tool, i get the same number of monthly average search volume as result.

At first i thought, it was a coincidence but when i tried repeating search for keywords just changing their position, i realized the adword tool always shows the same search volume when the position of the keywords in the phrase is changed.

My question is: How do i know if the result of 9,900 results is for "Google adword" or "Adword google"?

Please note that in the actual google search, "Google Adword" and "Adword google" show separate results.

Experienced Adword keyword tool users, please comment.

    hi RovingCalypso,

very nice question....actually the google keyword tool is only for adwords and not seo requirements. as far as adwords is concerned, google adword and adword google will be treated as only one. thatsy u r seeing such results.

    Hey SF_guy,

Thanks for replying and you are right its not an SEO tool but as an advertiser how am i suppose to know if i should choose the phrase "Google adword" or "Adword google".

And also, how do i get to know the actual google search volume of both the phrases.

    Thanks,

as an advertiser or online marketer always follow a simple rule - think from users perpective and you will get the answer. now try to think as a user and decide whether you will search Google Adword or Adword Google or Google Adwords, you will get the answer.

deciding on keywords should not be solely based on tools.

    Thanks,

But is there a way to look up the exact search volume (or fair approximation) of these phrases?

see one thing that you must understand here is that there is nothing like "exact" in statistics. but for your purpose you can use wordtracker or keyword discovery
