Problem when submitting to OPD

Every time I click on Suggest URL, it re-directs me to the instruction page:
    http://www.dmoz.org/add.html

Am I on the right page to submit my website? I am really confused.

    Please help. Thank you!

Go to the page or category into which you wish to suggest the site, then do so.

At the moment you are merely reading the instructions on how to suggest the site.

Dosent seem too hard to me :)

Ok! Submitted successfully! Now I am waiting.

Will there be a notice from ODP, when my site is indexed?

I think its best if you read the stickie at the top. This will answer every question you have.

    Cheers :)

You need to select the exact category to submit your site..You will first need to go though their rules to do so.

Move on to something else - you've done all that you can do by suggesting your site. ;)

You will not receive any notification of review, acceptance or rejection. And it's hard to say when, if ever, your suggestion will be reviewed.

Thank you! And how can I know whether my site is listed? By searching on ODP? Hrm, I think yes.

How long does it usually take ODP to list the website? Thank you!

Doesn't normally take more than 3 minutes. When those minutes will be is completely unknown of course :)

Put your url (without the www) into the search box, just checking the category that you suggested to may not yield the information you want, because an editor may have believed the site fitted better somewhere else and moved it.

As Jim says no one can tell you when that review for a possible listing will take place, days, months or years perhaps and we don't advise if the site has been accepted or not used at that review, sorry.

Just to clarify, read the posts above and the stickie and if you are fishing to see if their is a shortcut into DMOZ, then believe there isn't and offering any payment will get your site banned for ever and if an editor took the money they would go the way of the site.

Can I ask how you know that? Or are you just making that up? Are you trying to tell us that the 9000 sites added in January all belong to editors? Please clarify.
