Mmm... I love Netfirms, really! And I NEVER had such kind of problems, the procedure is linear and went always smooth for me.

What is happening to you is that the domain name is under a status that doesn't allow you to transfer it, an example of cause can be "domain used to spam" when in this status you cannot do anything.

If the domain is funclinic.net here's the status of the domain: clientDeleteProhibited, clientTransferProhibited, clientUpdateProhibited.

What to do? Easy, the domain menu you need to UNLOCK the domain. If the domain is already unlocked you need to check if your domain is actually under control/investigation for some reasons. Send a ticket to NetFirms, usually in less than one hour (if in business hours) they will answer you.

A quick note: I see that this domain is going to expire soon: 2010-07-27 so this can also means that first you need to renew it, then you'll be able to transfer it.

    Hope this will help :)

Actually I have read of quite a few people who get confused with their transfer system. It seems quite different to most other registers and they certainly want it to be a painful thing to do to transfer your domain away from them.

the problem is because domain is going to expire and thats why its stuck in my account, there are two ways,
either to let it delete from registrar to get avialable again for registration.

and if i renew it myself and then transfer.
but the person whom i sold this i am ready to provide password of funclinic.net domain if he pay. Because renewing is not free for me.

wish he understand all this. and we leave good positive feedback for each other.
