Problem setting Adsense channel ID in my Profile

I'm trying to set the Adsense channel ID and I keep getting this message:

You did not enter the correct format for the Google AdSense Channel ID field. Please read the field description for the expected format.

I did notice it was only 10 chrs, but I've got a channel name less than that. Is there some numeric code in Adsense that I should be using instead of the actual name of the channel?

 

This question has been asked many times before. Plz search the forum befor opening a thread.


Do not insert channel name (like dp or digital point).
channel id is a 10 digit numeric string. login to your adsense account and create a adsense code ( with desired channel inserted). Now look into the generated code and you will see something like
google_ad_channel = "xxxxxxxxxx";
this xxxxxxxxxx is the required 10 digit string. Enter it in your DP userCP.

 

The id number is the number in the code google gives you not the name of the channel. Hope that helps.

When I try to enter a Google "channel" ID for on my Digital Points options page I can only enter 10 digits. What is the format? I don't have a clue what to put there other than the url for DP and that won't fit. I already have my Google adsense ID entered.

 

Just pick one and set it up in your adsense channel panel thing. You can name it whatever you want.

Ok, I just gave it a name, clicked on save and got this message......again. Help!

PHP:

go into your adsense account and create an ad and create a channel for that ad.as you can see,i named it digital point.
4406929804 is what you would enter as the ad channel.

 

Thanks, I'll try that. I already have an ad but I haven't created a digital points channel.
