    Hi,

I am trying to reinstall wordpress on this domain, (http://www.free-football-tips.co.uk) and every time i go to install wordpress says

"You appear to have already installed WordPress. To reinstall please clear your old database tables first."

But i have deleted all my Msql databases so i don't get how this is possible.

Maybe i have uploaded files to the wrong place i don't know?

I was wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem!?

Also another strange thing is if you go to my domain, you get refered to one of my other websites.

    www.making-money-online-auctions.co.uk

    Anyone have any ideas!?

    Try this:

    - Reinstall your old WP version
    - Restore your database and check that everything is running as it did before the upgrading.
    - If everything is fine, then follow the steps on the link of my previous post

    Hope that helps ;)

If you are upgrading then you should upload all the new files of your wordpress 2.5 in the directory... after the upload... fix the wp-config-sample file with the proper database info and save it as wp-config

    Done that?

Cool... now go to this address:

    http://www.free-football-tips.co.uk/wp-admin/upgrade.php

And voila! Your blog is back on line...

Wait, you are not done yet...

Now go to settings-> permalinks and press UPDATE/SAVE (dont change anything but just press update)

Just check htaccess just in case and now... say this in your mind... (We are the champions of the world!)

    And, .......just blog away!!!
