Problem of site position

    My site is at 2nd page for last two weeks.I have created back links by posting and article marketing. But the position is stagnant .I can't understand what is the reason of this.So I just want to know, what to do, to come at 1st page...Friends i hope i will get my answer....:) thank you...

    When was the backlinks created.Patients is the key.Backlinks take full effect from 3-4months so relax.Also is the backlinks quality?Do yo know your competitors backlinks number/quality?Research more,its not just about creating backlinks.

    Thanks friend, I have posted my articles at hub, wordpress, articlebase, goarticle, ezinemark etc....Actually i am new in seo industry. Can you please recommend some tools from which i can get an idea about competitors backlinks number?Hope i will get your reply...again thanks dear......:)
