    Hi there,

Got a problem with my Apache config on one of my servers. When i access an URL ex. http://www.mydomain.com/0540.htm (0540.htm non-existant page) the server is doing 2 things depending on witch page i'm accessing, it can result as a 300 code due to multiplechoice that i can trap, or it will rewrite directly to an looklike URL that exist ex. http://www.mydomain.com/0504.htm in that case. When that rewrite is done i receive a 301 moved permantly code. In that case i have to empty my browser cache to get the 301 code again or it will reload the 0504.htm page with code 200. Anyone seen something weird like that. I just want, if a page doesn't exist to eat a 404 error or other code that i can trap. I've remove all my .htaccess file to be sure there's no problem with them, so i guess it's on the server side config the problem.

    Thanks in advance

p.s. Soorry for my poor english
