also go to start/run/ then type msconfig check for all services that start together with windows and disable those you don't need
Download CCleaner and run+delete everything it finds Then download malwarebyte's scan, and make a full system scan. After that - reboot your computer and download hijackthis (think trend micro bought it). Run a system scan and save a log file and post it here (or PM it to me), then I will analyze it.
You will be able to tell if its your browser or your internet line by going on speed test -> http://speedtest.net/ If its your browser just switch to Google Chrome or Mozzila.
I really don't agree with the Browser part. It doesn't matter what browser he is using. It's obviously significantly slow. There's something else going on that is causing this. I agree that it could be a connection speed issue but I doubt that's what this is. I could be wrong, but I doubt it.
If he reports back the figure given to him from that test then when can be a lot more accurate and helpful to him!
Make sure that you have cleaned your temporary internet files folder or delete browsing history & its cookies .
i think so many reason like your internet speed is slow, there is som virus problem as well as firefox block your internet browser you use first instol AVG antivirus software if the internet speed is not incrsed then you format your pc it is good to you.
It would also depend if your ISP is having an issue at their end, have you tried contacting them? I would rather prefer Chrome to Firefox since Firefox is a tad bit too slow. Try AVG and Spydoctor and scan over your drive. If nothing else works, re-install your OS..
