From what I understand, you should select Direct Bank Deposit for it to work.

By the way, since Paypal now offers direct withdrawal to your Indian bank and it is cheaper and safer than Xoom, why don't you use that option instead.

I think you want to transfer funds from your indian paypal account to yourself, am i right

Then if you are selecting 'Cash Pickup' as disuburshment option then let me tell you one thing that its not allowed. You need to go with 'bank deposit' or 'check delivery' option.

    hi there,

even if you are a verify member it doesn't mean that you are able to send money.

one thing i know base on my experience you are not allowed to send money to your own name and you are not allowed to send money in the same place. your payment will be canceled.

xoom only let you withdraw your paypal money by direct deposit to your bank account.... you cannot send your own money to home delivery or pickup... only bank deposit it allowed.... i have done it 8 times through xoom and i never have any problem.... so i am sure your selecting either pickup or home delivery....

Because he is from Nepal and his dad is living in India and he is using his dad's Indian Paypal account.

He cannot withdraw because he is Nepalese and Nepal is a Send Only country so he cannot receive money and thus officially there is nothing to withdraw.

I understand that Xoom is very strict and it is possible that if log in using a Nepalese IP address and uses an Indian Paypal account, it would raise a big red flag and thus it is the likelihood the transaction got cancelled. This is to prevent fraud. The best option would be to have your dad to actually initiate the transfer since he would be using an Indian IP address when he logs into Xoom.

Give it another try and if it fails, it probably is because they already flag your account on the first time. If that is the case, just ask your dad to withdraw to his bank account and then hand you the money the next time you see him.
