Hello, I am using a US paypal account to receive money.Actually I am not using that account, I just give that account to other people to send me money. That account belongs to my friend who lives in US. He've added bank account in the paypal account. He does sends money to bank account from the paypal and I receive the money using the debit card he sent me here. Now the problem is I wanted to upgrade the account. I cant see the account since I am not in US. If they know that I am using that from outside of US then they might do something. And he didnt see any upgrade option in the account like I see in indian account. Is that true you can not upgrade an US from personal account to premier account if you've not added a credit card there? He've already added a bank account there. And how much money can you withdraw to bank in one month from a personal US account?
Yes you must add a Credit Card before you upgrade your account. Without adding a CC you can't upgrade a personal account to premier/Business. Trying adding a credit card then upgrade. This will work for you.
It may or may not work but worth the try. In my experience, Debit Mastercard works better. Incidentally, you will need a US address (your registered Paypal address) for the card to verify most of the time.
Yes. You can use a debit card. As long as it has the Visa (or Mastercard) logo on it, it will work the same as a credit card.
