problem in submitting google sitemap verification code.

Hi Friends,

can u help me. i m getting problem in placing google sitemap verification code in my index page.
coz, my index page is made of in PHP formate and verification code is in HTML formate. when i uploding the sitemap file to my root folder it shows error.

how do i place this on my index page?

even tho its php. the spot for the tag is still there jus look for it. if you cant find it then u have to contact your host

You can still put HTML in your PHP file, just make sure you close and open your php tags correctly.

 

You can simply create a plain HTML file with whatever filename Google provides, and upload that into your document root. That's the easiest way, and doesn't require any editing of an existing page.
