    hello guys...
I have an account at godaddy.com (ONLY A DOMAIN NAME)...
and my friend of mine got domain name + hosting at godaddy too...

i want to point my domain name to his hosting.. I know i can do Forwarding , or forwarding with masking.. but that doesnt satisfy my needs...

How can i add my domain into his godaddy ACCOUNT... "the management of the domain"... ??? ex: lets suppose i wanna move my account to other company i just change nameservers.... but how can i do that from my account to his account .. with lettin my rights of the payments of the domain and control and moving and full control of my domain ... ??

    thanks.

Do you want to have domain name hosted there or just to park? In any case both actions should be specified from the current web host.

So what are we talking about here exactly? Do you want to actually transfer ownership of the domain to your friends Godaddy account.

If so, go to the 'My Domains' page in your Godaddy account, check the box next to the domain name, click on the 'Account Change' icon in the toolbar above the domains list, enter the details for your friends Godaddy account, and click the 'Next' button. Your friend should get an email from Godaddy instructing him on how to approve the transfer to his account. If he doesn't approve the transfer within 10 days, then the domain will get bounced back to your account.

Some browsers (Opera) have trouble with Godaddy's funky interface, so use Chrome if you have any trouble.

Just change the nameservers to point to your friend's hosting, and then get your friend to add the domain on his hosting account as an addon domain. The addon domain should have its own FTP account so that you can upload your files.

First, update the record in your domain control panel to make your domain pointint to the hosting IP of your friend's.
Then, ask your friend to update the DNS zone.
Finally, wait till the record becomes effective, and then you can make it.
And you can also ask the related person in godaddy for help if both of you don't know how to conduct it.
    Hope it can help you.
