Hey all, first post, great forum btw.

I use google adsense, i started about a week ago. My method is writing blogs with google ads placed on the site.

But I have a prob, I have twice as much page impressions, clicks and CTR as my sister. Yet she is getting paid, and im not gettin a cent.

Can anyone tell me what the problem is? I've posted several blogs and I got lots of hits and still haven't got paid jack, it's frustrating me.

    Thanks alot in advance,
    Simple00.

EDIT: I removed the pics due to violating TOS.

This is weird. Is your site displaying PSA ads or worst, clicking your own ads?

I think you should email google and have them look into it.

It might all be a moot point soon anyway. Disclosing your CTR is against the TOS and could result in you being banned. Read the TOS!

You know what? your figures appear to be very fraudulent to me! Look at your sister's and yours CTR ... oh my god ... 85% and 91% CTR ... I am absolutely sure that you and your sister click your own ads therefore Google does not pay you. In my Adsense career, I have never seen any "impressive" CTR as such.

I bet with you that in the very short future, you will receive a disable email from Google.

BTW, reveal your CTR, Page Impression as above is completely against the TOS of Google.

probably those are invalid clicks. otherwise 90% CTR is impossible. lots of people hardly cant get more than 5%

obviously the first image is totally fraudulent. 146 clicks and you made NOTHING? that's impossible. i'd say the same about your sister's account. even though she's making money, there's something that doesn't add up there too. 38 clicks would make much more than 1 cent.

i wouldn't put it down to low paying keywords either. what are you blogging about?

Look up CPM and what does it mean. That is why your not getting paid.

Your paid per 1000 page impression's of the ad's. So, having only 391 impression's with that amount of clicks will not get you a dime. I accually more amazed your "sister" got any cash from that small amount of page impression's. On the other hand, the ad's on your page could be very low paying too and even if you got the 1000 CPM required you would only get 0.05 cents a click.

btw: it's a great way to get your account and your sisters banned to post your adsense stats.

You shouldnt be asking us about this as no body can give you a correct answer regarding this issue for sure. Everything here is a guess so your better off contacting google and removing this thread as you are violating rules as we speak.

First of all, I am sorry for posting the pics, I wasn't aware of the violations it caused, I removed it as quickly as I could.

In my first few days as a member I was clicking my own ads, I didn't know what I was doing as I was brand new to the system. I then emailed Google Adsense to clear the problem days later when I realised what I did was not right, I'm just waiting on their reply. I have since obviously stopped doing this now.

That is the only thing wrong that I did, but I stopped doing it once I read the FAQs.

With that aside, all I was asking in the first place is if I wasn't getting paid, and why my sister was. That's all I wanted to know and it has been mentioned why.

If I offended anyone or done anything wrong then I am terribly sorry, I did not mean to, I have only had AdSense for a week or so, I am still learning the rights and the wrongs.

Thanks to everyone who replied with constructive comments.

Then you should get the point already. You are probably banned by now and you wont find out probably till the end of the month since it seems you arent reaching 100$ at this rate.

Google replies to me with in 24 hours all the time. So they probably arent dealing with you anymore. I suggest switching to YPN and not repeating your mistakes.

Google is going to know that you clicked your own ads (they know your IP address and also know your computer when you registered) and you are not going to see any revuene from thoses clicks. Now if you keep your account build real traffic and do not click on your ads.

    Good Luck.

Each and every web browser announces to their website what IP address they're coming from, what web browser version they're running, what screen resolution and color depth the user is displaying, what operating system the user is running, what version of Javascript the user has installed, what time zone the user is in and even what the user's local time is.

Google gets this information also. They know if you're cheating the system. This is the same Google that has thousands of servers all over the world sorting, aggregating, parsing and analyzing all the data on the web nonstop. To think that they don't know a real quick from a fake click is to think that they're in the business to throw money away.

Look at it this way: Brin is a billionaire. The click fraud user is wasting hours of his life for pennies. Which one do you think is paying more attention to the other?

38 clicks and 1 cent means Google already figured it out, and you should apologize as quickly as possible and hope they let you stay in the program. :)

Yep, I did and I just got the reply, they told me everything is cool they said, aslong as I don't do it again. I've obviously learned from my mistake and will not do that again.

Cheers for the help everyone. :)
