problem downloading gz file

I have a problem downloading a .gz file.
In IE and Firefox the file just opens in the browser. In Opera the file never stops to download. How can I get this file ?

In firefox to go options, then to content, then at the bottom it will say file types, you can change the way in which FF opens them, look for .gz files and change them to your needs

Yeah, just add it telling it to open in the program you want it to (is it a zip folder?)

.gz is database file. If you open it with WinZip or similar program it might get damage. You should right click and hit "Save Target As", it might help..
