Problem creating sub-domain in apache!!!

    hi,
    I have a quite small problem..

    i m having issue in creating the sub-domains, in apache....

    and please tell can i check them on the "localhost"...

    u have to also do the dns setting of the sub domain to the ip and then config apache

    apache isn't responsible for subdomains - it just serves http-requests on the ip-address it is listening.
    You need to map subdomains to that (one of that) address and then configure Virtual Host in apache

    what do u mean by 'the apache is not responsible for sub-domains....'

    if it is so then how can i create sub-domains on the run time, or on user request....

    i want to create them programatically....
