problem creating categories in phpld 3.1

Discussion in 'Directories' started by cientificoloco, Feb 12, 2007.

I am feeding my brand new directory with categories (manually), but I don't get the corresponding subdirectories being created under my root, so if I click on a cat on my dir's home page I get a "file not found" error. Do I have to do it manually?

Is it possible that I missed some step during installation?

    Any tips appreciated

htaccess and MOD Rewrite issue if you're getting 404 errors.

    whats your directory?

Yes probably an htaccess error issue-- Did you changed the url rewrite option in your phpld admin section ?

Looks like people have asked you some questions.
I noticed you have affiliate links in your sig. I don't think they allow that here, but I could be wrong.
What is the url for you phpLD license?

Whether it was No before, and you changed YES now ? This may be the problem
