    Hello,

We use PHPCow cms and somebody/hacker? messed up our files and we don't know what to do now. We tried to contact COW for several days but I think they fled the country, they don't respond or whatsoever to our desparate need of help.

At first I thought it was the zendoptimizer but our host say that it's installed and it works fine.

The errors we get are: Fatal error: Incompatible file format: The encoded file has format ID 0, which is too old in /var/www/vhosts/jojoclub-afslanken.com/httpdocs/news.php on line 0

Has anybody an idea what it can be? Can you please help us?

There are quite a few google hits on a search for that error: http://www.google.com/search?q="Fat...&oe=utf-8&aq=t&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official

Maybe you can find a solution there. It seems this can happen if there is one of the following errors in transferring the files to the server: 1. either it's being transferred in the wrong format (ASCII instead of Binary), or 2. there is a defective file on the server

Have you tried replacing the file in question? Do you have other files/pages with direct links, and if so, do the work? (By this I mean, do you for instance have a page called jojoclub-afslanken.com/something.php or something similar, and if so, does it work? (Any other page than the first page (index.php))

Nevermind - I tried some random common pages, and "contact.php" works just fine - ie. there is a problem with at least index.php and news.php - maybe other pages too, although I wouldn't know that.
