    Dear Experts!

I recently transferred my wordpress website from one server to another . I first took backup using cpanel's full backup utility and then I restored it on other server. After this transfer my website stopped working. Is there anything else to do or just a restore at other server is enough? Waiting for your fruitful replies.

    Regards

What does "stopped working" mean? What error messages are you getting?

Did you change old domain URLs in your MySQL DB to new ones?

Oops, I didn't do that. What should I do now? And the issue is that website is not loading.

Edit your file wp-config.php and change old login information.

I already did it.. Is it also necessary to change the password in wp-config?

Well, if your new DB password is different, yes.

    This error now..

We were able to connect to the database server (which means your username and password is okay) but not able to select the database.

    Getting near..

I don't think using cpanel backup & restore is a good idea. Why don't you use some plugin like duplicator or something. It is easy to move wordpress website using them.
