    I don't know...All I know is I'm sick of NY shopowners pawning off their Canadian quarters. When I buy maple candy in Plattsburgh, I don't appreciate being slipped a few quarters with animals on them, only to try to use a vending machine with no luck.

    Happens here all the time too. That's OK, though. Every American quarter I get is worth a cool 30 cents!!! :)

    Those morbidly obese American quarters fall right through the slots for many Canadian vending machines.
