Probably an obvious question, but I must ask it.

This has been plaguing me and I know the answer is right in front of me (pardon my sense of nube-ness)

How could I go about tracking the source of my sales? When I say this I mean social websites that I may build outside of a landing page. Is it possible to track sales that came from an article, either on an article site or something like a squidoo lens?

I'm looking for more specific than a guesstimate based on traffic.

    Hi,

It is possible to track your sales. When you create a hop link, you are asked to provide two values. One is your ClickBank NickName and other is Tracking ID (Optional). If you provide a Tracking ID,you can track your clicks and sales.

I also advise checking your site stats after a sale. The TID may tell you which hoplink was used but your site stats will reveal the referring page to your site e.g. which Google keyword the buyer used to find your site.

I use statcounter but I believe there is much better e.g. Google Analytics.
