Alright. Awstats is telling me that 14ish% of my page views are coming from search engines for www.pimpsurveys.com. Now 62% of those SE referrals are from Google, supposedly. That's all of 15 page views so far this month. Now that's not terribly hard to believe, except that I'm not in Google at all. I looked at one of those "search all of Google's datacenter" things, and site:www.pimpsurveys.com only returns 1 result: the splash page that was up from January until about a month ago, which didn't even mention MySpace. (MySpace appearing in all of my search keyphrases, according to Awstats.) So is Awstats a liar? Or is Google a big meanie? And how long does it generally take to get into Google? I've submitted a link and a sitemap, but I haven't been picked up yet. IIRC, it didn't take long with sites I've submitted in the past. Thanks.
Nope. I haven't done any paid marketing yet. I'm not sure I ever will, either, because I'm really cheap.
My Google stats have doubled. I like the idea a lot, but I'm not seeing how it's possible. Oh well. Someday I'll figure it out.
