[PRO] - Require WP Theme - Experience required - $200-300 budget

Hi,

I require a designer who can design and code a wp theme for me. The theme itself should be quite simple, with only a few challenges, the real challenge, is understanding the concept.

Do not apply if you are a Company selling employment services, we are looking for freelancers only - thank you.

Only apply if you can:

1. Speak, type and code English
2. Provide a portfolio ready to view, (WP themes desired)
3. Understand payment is on completion and that we will require unlimited revisions until we are happy before purchase
4. Match or beat the budget, if you can beat it and still have a good submission, you will be seriously considered
5. provide a full and complete service provision, from graphics to code and UAT (User Acceptance Testing), includes any AJAX or other code we may require you to carry out as part of the design and agreed price
6. accept payment via PayPal, we are a Public Limited Company in the United Kingdom and fully traceable and transparent. Payment will be sent on receipt of Template via paypal.

Why should I apply

1. We will pay to the agreed price promptly after receipt of the agreed template
2. Template will likely require revisions in the future with WP and plugin updates, this will more than likely be an ongoing relationship
3. Our communication will be high and a lot of it, you need to understand what we require
4. I am traceable on DP and through my Company, I have used contests before and had feedback on the same terms for a Graphic PSD website, check my posting history if you want to, I have only had to come to tender for another designer as my previous designer is fully booked for another month, hence my inactivity on DP for services.

What we want

1. A clean, crisp and bespoke wordpress theme, some re-graphicing of a wp-plugin to match the theme, an AJAX/moving banner which can be easily changed, some static areas and integration of the standard wordpress functions such as posts, categories etc.
2. A reliable designer
3. A finished product

Project Details

1. See attached document (PDF) for desired layout - please feel free to be creative and move things around though
2. Theme based around a Political party
3. The theme should be applicable to all pages, we are looking for a theme, not one page.
4. Main Colours are White background, Hex #00929F and #FDBB30
5. Plugins will include: wp-polls (will require you to change the graphics of the bars and layout to fit with the theme. More TBC later on during design phase.

Complex or not if this is a contest you should move this to contest category, It's pretty misleading otherwise.

 

Its a cross between a Service request and a contest.

I kept with the Service section as thought it was more suited to individual designers rather than a whole contest, however if Moderators wish to move it I have no objections.
