Pro Geocities website and Ad Sense

    Hello,

I have a soccer website for over five years and currently host it on my Geocities Pro plan. My website has always been on geocities, even back in the free days, but I paid to upgrade my plan to get rid of the pop up ads.

I am happy with Yahoo and want to add adsense to make some money to cover expenses, since I get about 90,000 unique hits a month.

Does Geocities allow Adsense, since they are competitors? I would not want to add it to only get kicked off later.

I have read contradicting things about whether this is allowed. Ad Sense would be my only advertising.

Any information for this novice would be appreciated!

I'd think not, since you are paying for the hosting.

nice ,but IMO you should use you domain ,and try to take the traffic to you new site.
90,000 unique will give you a good revenue.

It is best to ask them so you have a documanted answer but the answer is yes. Especially since you are paying for their pro plan. I contacted geocities on the matter and they said it was ok to use adsense and that I should consider YPN

I suppose its ok to use AdSense on GeoCities Pro website. You can even use AdSense on GeoCities Free site! But still its a good idea to mark an email to them and ask.

Most probably, the answer would be 'Yes'! :)

I think that you shouldn't have problems with that even they are competitors, of course if you don't have some strange materials on your page than it could be a problem.
