I'm not normally the type of guy to leave publicly negative feedback but I feel compelled since I lost money in the transaction and it didn't seem to matter one bit to Ryan.

I hired Ryan to work on a number of design projects for me. And while he was patient and great to work with along the way, he often times missed deadlines. A few times he'd promise me delivery of something and then he wouldn't follow through. Things like, "I'll send you the file tomorrow." And then tomorrow would come and I wouldn't get anything.

The last straw was when I asked Ryan to make a simple tweak to a design, which he only charged $12 for. I paid him IN ADVANCE for the work because at that point I thought I could trust him. When he got the money he said he would have the tweaks completed "tomorrow." Tomorrow turned into 3 weeks!! I sent him numerous emails and didn't get a single reply.

Finally after telling him I'd leave him negative feedback here he replied that he had been sick. Sick for 3 weeks?? So sick you can't send me a simple email that you're sick and won't be able to get this done??? He also told me that he left this update in this thread - which clearly he didn't. I don't see any post here that says, "Sorry everyone, I"m sick so I won't be getting your work done for a while."

At any rate, I told Ryan I was sorry he was "sick" but I had to hire another designer to complete this because I thought he wasn't going to do the work. Now a professional would apologize for promising me delivery "tomorrow" and would apologize for leaving me hanging for 3 weeks and would RETURN THE MONEY. What did Ryan do? Nothing. I didn't get a single reply or my money back. And truth be told, I don't even want the money back. A simple apology would have been suffice.

So if you're going to work with Ryan on more than a simple design, you've been warned. This guy is flighty.

turn into a remark like this left on my thread!

Travis is a very hard person to work with, as you can see from his feedback he has had runins with people in the past, as you can see from my feedback i am a trusted service provider, Travis finds it hard to believe that people can get ill,
As you can see from my feedback there is a 3 week gap as i was ill with swine flu! I posted on both my threads to let my clients know and i also emailed travis to let him know to which he will probably deny.

Travis is not the only person that i had to deliver work to but most people are reasonable!

I am quite disgusted with this attack at my rep here on DP.

Can this please be removed from my thread.
