Private Messaging SPAM

Do you get alot of spam through your PM?

I just received some from a user named writingpool stating that I might be interested in their writing services. I'm a writer for goodness sakes! Why would I want their services?

I did recently hire a well known writer here and posted in his thread. I guess that's where they got the idea I was looking for someone to wrote for me.

Anyway, I tried to check this members post and they have never made one. No not even one.

I guess they are just going to be using spam as their preferred method of communication on this forum.

How do you handle such a case? I don't appreciate spam in my PM's.

I have the same problem. I usually just delete them and don't reply. I get a few PM's here and there asking me really basic questions- don't be tempted to answer them. The people that ask these questions usually won't understand an answer.
