Suggestion Private Messages

    PM's delete automatically after 3 months (6, if premium).

    What about a feature that automatically sends a .txt file of the PM's to the users email account (or maybe even save it locally?) before it deletes them?

    The feature exists, where you can do it manually...

    The system already emails you the content of every PM in it's entirety (if you get email notifications) as you get them.

    The system has had almost 34 million private messages. I don't really see the point in emailing all those a second time. :)

    Yep... that's why we had to create the auto-deletion system awhile back. Old PMs were taking more storage space than everything else combined. :)

    Not sure exactly day to day, but as an example... the process that automatically deletes old PMs once a day, deleted 18,891 PMs last night for it's daily run.

    If there are that many PM's, I definitely disagree with my idea now... Haha.
