Private messages bug! HELP

    HELP PLEASE,
    Your private message sytem is very annoying,
    I recieved 1 pm today and i had read it, keeps sayng new pm and i even deleted it its still there,

    Even a pm from yesterday is saying its new and keep popping up and i cnanot use the forum, Help

    I have never experienced this. I get so mad when tech support says this to me but have you tried logging off DP and rebooting your computer?

    Also try removing temp internet files and clearing your cache and cookies.

    Gotta hate it, but it's always step #1

    (congratz on the modship :D)

    That's generally step #2 , followed by step #1 again ;)

    However, in many cases the cookies need to be manually removed rather then simply using the 'clear cookies' button.

    This problem happened to me once (not here though) and it resolved itself by the end of the day...I think it was a strange cache issue personally, but honestly have no real clue.

    However you fix it though, please let us know so we'll know what to tell the next person!

    I had this happen once actually here,

    It kept saying ( 1 ) new message,

    I did what the others said, I cleared my cookies and cache, then did a reboot and I was fine,

    Yep it works now, i couldnt explain realy sorry i tried to type as fast as i can lol,
    I think they should fix this bug though it was realy annoying
