Hey all! This is probably nothing anybody here has had to deal with, but does anyone have an estimate of how much customer retention rates increase after adding a private label? I'm doing a report on Zappos for a college class and I need to estimate how much their repeat customers would go up after adding a private label. I can't find any data online for any company's experience doing this, and I was hoping someone here might know. For clarification, Zappos currently has 75% of its sales coming from repeat customers, and 25% from new customers. I estimated that by adding a private label they could increase that number to 80%, but it's a pure estimate. Hopefully someone here can help! Any kind of resource would be of value.
