I joined allexperts.com as an (what else?) but and Elvis expert... recently I found this site http://experts.about.com/q/Presley-Elvis-562/elvis-autograph.htm Now I have tried to contact management alas to no avail and no response to my emails... as this site has violated my private email responses which 1. I don't appreciate 2. It has contributed to me losing my google keyword ranking So, my question is 1. Are private emails in response to question a copyright violation? 2. Can anyone here offer me some suggestion on how best to contact them and where to ask allexperts.com to delete the offending site... Any suggestion would be most helpful... thanks,
Did you read their TOS to see what you might be giving up when you joined? They are owned by about.com - I had to call AllExperts once and that of course went to about.com where no one even heard of AllExperts. It took me about three or four calls to finally get to someone who knew what I was talking about. I just started with their phone number listed in the whois.
Anything you write is your intellectual property and is automatically copywrited. Proving it and enforcing it is another matter.
In TOS at allexperts is what I signed up for not with About.com so I do believe they should not be allowed to do that... I also believe they have initiated this to create MFA (Made for Adsense) site... so that they include adsense ads... I did a whois... and have since emailed them at adminbox.about.com... and hopefully they will respond... as I live in Australia I am not about to call just to talk to some idiot... If they don't delete the offending site... I will be only too pleased to cancel my services at allexperts... thanks
