Hey guys. I want to start posting some daily tips on here for you all to read. These aren't copied articles from my blog, they're posts I am strictly writing for the forums. So today, I want to talk about Private Advertising. Negatives of Private advertising. 1) You won't make more than what you ask for. 2) It's sometimes hard to find advertisers. 3) If you're not very popular private advertising probably won't work. Why private advertising is better. Private advertising is better than AdSense and other Pay Per Click advertising because it's not a commission based type of payment. You say how much you'd like the advertisers to pay you, and if the price is reasonable, they will. To the reader, private advertising is also better because you're not really trying to trick your reader into clicking the ads to make money. To top it off, private ads are usually out of the way. A good example of a private advertising page. Personally, I like Tyler Cruz's advertising page and I really think that this is how everyone should set up their page. To be a successful private advertiser you must... 1) Have a good amount of fans / subscribers. 2) Have a good amount of traffic. 3) Have a relatively low to medium bounce rate. I like private advertising because... I like private advertising because it allows me to not have to worry about being banned from AdSense. Private advertising allows me to work for myself. Finally, it's an overall more effective form of advertising when it comes to having an overall more professional looking site. What are your experience with private advertising? You like it more than AdSense? What brings you more success?

if you have good site and decent traffic private advertising work better than adsense.you can see shoemoney and other giants they are doing pretty much than adsense.
Gandham. Is Genius Hackers yours? Very well-built. I don't know much about the hacks and proxy's you talk about. Maybe it's something I should look up a little more. I love your banner and yes, you should definitely go into private advertising. And no, I don't think Ty Cruz is over-priced. He obviously gets a lot of traffic, and my guess is, a lot of it's organic. If you look at his Alexa ranking, it may seem low. But again, he probably hasn't used programs like Entrecard, or Entrecard itself to gain his traffic. With that said, Ty Cruz's price is probably about right.

I assumed that alexa is proportional to traffic, and i have no clue about how alexa tracks sites, so i may be worng. My blog has alexa of 100k 75% traffic is organic 400+ rss readership 1200 registered users But i find it very hard to sell banners. I had some luck selling links. can any one tell me at what price should i sell links,125*125 banners,300*250 banners in sidebar.
adsense will pay you month after month while with private advertiser, it is not stable and thats not good
