I'm still not sure about privacy policy. Some people claim you'll get banned if you don't have it somewhere on all of your sites, some claim you won't. I never had any privacy policies, and I've used Adsense for 1 year - and I'm still not banned. What do you think? Is it necessary?
Well, Google says it's necessary. They had reminders up when I logged into my Adsense account long before the April 8th deadline. It's hard to know whether people have had their accounts disabled just for that reason, because people who don't have a Privacy Policy often haven't read the ToS and Program Policies and are violating more than one rule. Will they ban you? Maybe. Could they ban you? Definitely. The question is why not have a privacy policy? People have shared some generic ones you can use by filling in the details of your site. The thing is, I have a lot of sites, and finding suitable places for a link on all the sites will be wasted work in my meaning. I will do it anyway though, not worth the risk. Thanks!
I would just put the link in the footer. That way it won't break up the format of your page, and won't be obtrusive, but it will be findable if someone is looking for it.
