Sorry, I don't know if this is the right section, but I can't find any better. If not, please move the thread. Thanks. I sometimes come to websites, where I want to opt in, but don't know if I can trust them. It is sad, that you can't trust all in internet marketing, because I get some spam now, so someone has given my adress away. Sad I've just seen this in one privacy policy: and Tha last statement I have seen on several websites, and I was not sure if it is trustworthy. Is it? At least here it contradicts the first statement on the same site.
Doesn't seem trustworthy to me - seems they've deliberately included this loophole so they can pass your information on if they want to. The way I see it 'partnering with other companies or businesses' gives them a lot of freedom and covers a broad range of possibilities.
Yes, I think so, it depends on what is meant with partner. If it's a joint venture, they can give the data to any company, they might partner with a leads broker, lol!
Smart move. Otherwords there will always be a cover up in the event they decide to make money by selling your data.
