Print Ads from Google - Anyone tried?

I searched through this forum for anyone tried 'Print Ads' from Google to publish your ads on local US news papers, but I couldn't find a solid answer yet. I'm thinking of placing it but I wanted to check to see if anyone had any good success with it?

I think i would just try to find list or package deals for ads from papers myself. Why pay google when you could do the same yourself.

 

I have been looking at this as well. However i would like to see how much it would cost?

 

I did a bid once with Google, but the newspaper never replied back. So I canceled the ad. Like to learn experience from others.

How did the second campaign go? I've been looking at the interface for a while and have been pretty impressed - but have never really known if it's got enough bang for its buck?

Second one scheduled from 6 of this month. Return is ok. In my opinion this will work great for e-commerce sites.
