Could this be the start of the end to this disaster that has helped to 'bust' the financial structure of the world The inept, Bush and Blair have this disaster firmly 'etched in stone' on their political legacy http://www.guardian.co.uk/politics/2008/dec/17/gordon-brown-iraq Britain's six-year occupation of southern Iraq will end by the summer, Gordon Brown announced today on a surprise visit to Baghdad. Will this be the start of the end to this debacle?
ummm... economically it should help tremendously to the world at large, coz it is a undeniable fact US economy is the backbone for all world economies! so anything happens on the US/ UK front has to be good news for all of Us! politically, it would be difficult for the middle east, coz the only reason they stand united is coz US is there, the day US pulls out ,... they all will start fighting wth each other! plus you do have Iran on the side, and Iran-Iraq 9 year long was can not be forgotten! The US will have to apply gr8 diplomatic pressure from the UAE on all middle east countries to help Iraq. blind widrawal would only defeat the purpose of going there in the first place itself! The Iraq war could have been handled better, without the hurried use of force! but alas what is done is done! ... what needs to be done now is NOT to repeat the mistakes, staggerred approach should be used, and power given to the Iraqi people so they can defend themselves on all grounds, whether internally, or from external aggressors.
