Depends on the niche and how unique your product is. If it's just rehashed information, then the price would tend to be on the lower end of the scale. On the other hand, if you have something new and refreshing, something on the cutting edge, like a piece of software, then it can pull in several thousand dollars a pop. But generally, your run of the mill ebooks go from $27 to $97 depending on content and if your offering an affiliate program with it. :)

Your best bet is to go product by product and split test it. I take three control prices, present to 100 different prospects per price point, and whichever sells the most is my price for the launch.

I think we should see the price of competitors that may affect directly or indirectly to our products. Suppose you are going to launch a e-book then according to the title and content, you should decide the price. I don think that there is any adopt and go type idea.. you will have to research and then adopt that. I am not able to comment on probable price before knowing the content of e-book or any other product.

It really depends what your ebook is trying to achieve. If for example, you're trying to promote a brand/product within your ebook you may wish to offer it at a low price, and even issue resell rights with it. This way more people will read your book, and the more sales/recognition you'll make of the brand you're promoting. If your book is content rich, and your only source of income is the sale, you will want to price it higher if possible.

Ebooks sell for anything from $1 to $97+ depending on various factors.
